We had a great celebration in McCall honoring Kingston and Zayden for their baptism.
Jonathan, Nick, Kingston and I got to McCall Friday evening. We had just finished unpacking when the electricity went out. So we all headed to Joan and Cam's place for lasagna and candle lit conversation.
The baptism was after church on Saturday. We gathered at Joan and Cam's beforehand to take pictures. Unfortunately, Kingston fell asleep on the car ride over, so we decided to do pictures afterwards. With 26 of us, we filled up the church!
The baptism was wonderful. Father John did an outstanding job. The boys both got candles and a baptismal cloth and they hardley flinched when the water was poured on their heads. And then at the end Father did a little song from his hometown in Africa. It made the ceremony extra special and very unique.
Here is Kingston surrounded by his Godmother Monica, Jonathan, me, and his Godfather Joel. He is one
lucky kid! (Kingston did miss his nap and is pretty tired in most of the pictures)

A big thank you to all of our special guests for coming to support Kingston on his special day!!

Then, it was back to Joan and Cam's for a BBQ and games. We had shuffleboard, pingpong, and foosball and lots and lots of food. It was a great celebration.
Chris, Alyssa, Molly, Nick, and Emily stayed with us, but Alyssa and I left early with the kids while the other 4 continued to party into the wee hours of the night.
Sunday we hung out and had breakfast. It's fun to see Molly and Kingston interact. He is always fascinated by her bows and ruffles. It won't be too long before they are getting into trouble together. My mom came by and helped me clean up and do laundry. Thanks mom!
