Zoo for Grandma's Birthday

June 2-
We put our new zoo passes to good use and took grandma their for her birthday (grandpa came, too).  The dinosaurs were new since we were there last and I think that they stole the show.  They are life size and they make noises and move their heads so they were a little more fun to watch than a sleeping lion.
Kingston was eager to show grandma and grandpa all the animals and the noises that they make. It was a perfect morning and didn't get too hot until we were leaving.

Kingston loves riding in the jeep. He always calls it 'grandma's jeep'.
This was our first time in the butterfly gardens. It was really neat and there were tons of butterflies.  We even got to see a rare green butterfly that only lives for 2 days.  Grandma got a butterfly on her shirt, but we didn't have any land on us.
Grandma is a good sport (I don't think she has seen this picture yet!)
We had difficulties with the bubble blower, but it was worth it to see Kingston's face light up when we finally got it working. We finished the day with icecream and then Kingston napped the whole way home! I think grandma had a pretty good birthday!
