July 12-
We had a quarantine party and family joined us on zoom for cupcakes and conversation. Kingston thought it was pretty cool that everyone came on. It was good to see family and still make him feel special!
And special is exactly what Kingston is! This year, he has really grown in to himself. He is a good friend, he is aware of his actions and their consequences, he is independent (at times), and he is a great playmate for Julienna (at times). His face is starting to change shape, he is getting muscles, and worst of all, he now smells like a boy!! He loves to ski and to ride his bike and to beat his mom at any game. He doesn't like to not get his way or lose. He is very tender hearted and wants things to be fair. He is incredibly smart (like too smart at times) and retains large amounts of animal facts that he loves to recite back to you. He is scared of new foods and things that look different! He is a jokester and prankster (but no match for his mom). He enjoys reading and unfortunately also loves video games and screen time. We are finding a balance but refer back to "he doesn't like to not get his way". He is just overall an amazing kid! We are so lucky to call him ours!
