Girl's Weekend

April 25-27
We left the husbands, the kids, and all our responsibilities and headed to McCall for a relaxing weekend!
Amber and I headed up right after work and chatted the whole way up. We stopped at Father's Place for burgers and fries before settling in at the cabin.  We turned on the fireplace and got the place toasty warm by the time Kelly and Alyssa made it in. They did a little off-roading, but made it.  We did some visiting and then turned in by midnight.
Even though we didn't need to get up, we were all up by 9 am.  Maybe we forgot how to sleep in!  Alyssa and Amber made us a delicious breakfast, followed by more visiting and a nap. We caught some deer grazing out the kitchen window.

 

 Even though Joy didn't come up with us, she still made her famous chicken salad for lunch.  We eventually got all showered and dressed and went to the Shore Lodge for dinner.  We sat right by the window and had a beautiful view of the lake.

Even though we were super full from dinner, we made a great decision to stop at Father's Place for milkshakes!  They were so yummy!

Sunday morning, Kelly made us french toast before we headed back home to reality!
