Easter in McCall

April 18-20
We spent Easter in McCall with Jonathan's family.  Kingston was so excited to be there and having Zayden there to play with made it that much better.  He is always talking about Zayden and wanting him to come and play.  The boys brought there Tonka trucks and stayed very bust scooping, digging, and dumping.
Most of Saturday, the guys were in Riggins watching the jet boat races.

That left us girls home (and Ryland). Brylee and I worked on decorating boxes for the "Boise's got Faith" walk and did a lot of playing.  We hid for a really long time in a cardboard box with a stroller on our laps and a blanket over our faces waiting for Aunt Emily to come and find us, but we eventually had to come out of hiding because Emily forgot to come find us! We all did Brylee's exercises together.  That gave us lots of giggles as we realized we weren't quite as flexible as we once were!  And Monica and I learned how to do a fish bone braid!  Quite a girly afternoon.
We set the table, with name cards and everything, so that when the guys got home we were all ready for dinner.  Ham and potatoes!  Then, it was back to playing. It was so nice outside that we brought out the scooters and went for a walk.  Kingston got going pretty fast on the downhill and Monica had to save him a few times.
We ended up finding a big puddle and spent quite a while throwing rocks in.  There were lots of smiles and laughing as some of the rocks didn't quite make it in!  And I think we all got splashed a little, too!
Sunday, we woke to baskets full of goodies and eggs hidden all over.  The kids got to dig through their baskets before it was time for church.  How cute are these cousins? (Kingston-2, Zayden-4, Brylee-7, and Ryland-2 mths)

Church was great because Kingston went with Brylee and Zayden to Sunday school. We hadn't really planned for it, but it was nice to not have to entertain him. And Brylee told me that I would have been really proud of my son (apparently he did fine without us!).
The kids hunted eggs inside and outside.  Kingston loves candy, but I think he had more fun finding eggs than getting the candy inside them.
Once the sun came out, it was another beautiful day.  We walked back to the puddle, but it had mostly dried up. We had to walk further down the rode to find another one. Again, we spent quite some time throwing rocks in.  We climbed on rock piles, and Zayden even talked me into sliding down a big pipe.  I did it, but it wasn't very graceful and I chickened out at the end and ended up stepping in a puddle and getting my socks wet!  The things we do!
It was a fun weekend and I got to spend lots of time with kids.  They are growing up so fast, but it's fun to watch them play together.  Brylee is so helpful and is always looking out for the younger ones.
