Christmas McCall

December 23-26-
We did Christmas in McCall with Jonathan's family.  I didn't get much time off work so we came up late on the 23rd.  It is definitely cold up there!

Saturday we went to Brundage and Julienna got to try out skiing for the first time.  I wouldn't say she loved it, but we will keep trying.  She could hardly move by the time we had her all outfitted up. I think she didn't like being attached to the skis...that made her pretty immobile. But she liked the chairlift and we were able to do a few runs with her. She had fun just letting us carry her down the hill.  Kingston, however, is doing great.  He just hopped on his skis and took off.  He was turning and weaving through the cones like a pro!

We hurried home and got ready for Christmas Eve service. The kids looked so cute, but this was the best picture I could get!  And our sad little Christmas Tree!  And what a cutie in her coat and hat!!

We were late and church was packed all the way to the door. We barely walked in and were stuck. Luckily there was room with Jonathan's family so we squeezed in with them and got a seat.

We had dinner with Jonathan's family and the kids got to open 1 present before we went back home to get ready for Santa.
After Kingston set out orange juice, cookies, and carrots, the kids got into their PJ's and then they got to sleep in our bed. When I went to check on them later, Julienna was sideways and part way on top of Kingston.
Santa worked his magic during the night and the kids were super spoiled the next morning.
Kingston didn't even know what to look at first. He loved everything!!
Julienna took a bit to warm up. She wasn't sure what this whole Santa thing was all about. But she soon discovered that it was awesome and she was thrilled with her art easel!
We packed up the rest of our presents and headed back to celebrate with Jonathan's family.  The kids were all sledding so we geared up and joined them.
We finished opening presents and enjoyed a nice dinner before calling it a night.

On Monday, we got in a little bit more play time before we had to head back home!
