We celebrated early since I had the day off and that meant we could spend the whole day with grandma. Julienna took charge of the day and planned a tea party and spa day. She helped me set the whole thing up while Kingston kept grandma busy with games. We had cucumber slices, tea, little sandwiches, tiny fruit and cheese, and cupcakes!! She was so excited to use the big fancy tea set (I think it's been boxed up for over 10 years!). She even made grandma and I change into dresses, although she let the boys slide in their casual attire.
After lunch, she wanted to pamper grandma with a spa day. She soaked her feet, painted her toes, and gave her a little foot massage. She even let me in on the fun and then decided that she needed a turn, too. Kingston was in charge of making magazines for the spa. Any guesses on the theme....dinosaurs!!!
We won a girls vs. boys basketball game and then cooled off with blizzards! We even ended up staying over for dinner.
Julienna did a great job planning the perfect day for grandma!
