January 1-4
We packed a lot of vacation into a few days. Kids and I skied New Year's Day, just for a few runs and then ended up at Joan and Cam's for dinner and games. The next day we all made it up for Jonathan to try out his knee. He did great but did say it was sore the next day. We were just going to have a relaxing cabin day on Saturday, but Joel and his family were coming up skiing so we couldn't miss out on that and ended up having a great time. Julienna loved skiing with the girls and we had a fun lunch at the Bear's Den with mozzarella sticks, chicken and waffles, and games. We closed down the mountain and Jonathan joined us on our final run of the day. Snow wasn't great and he somehow hit his hand on either the snow or his boot when he was catching himself and ended up hurting his hand. It was swollen and started to bruise. And then of course on Sunday when we were leaving, it snowed 7 inches!
