How cute are Uncle Joel and Kingston's matching hats?!
Lindsay was celebrating the big 3-0 this year. We enjoyed a fun dinner with all her friends and family the prior weekend and were lucky enough to get to spend the weekend with her to continue the celebration. Jonathan, Kingston, and I got up there on Friday and went to Joan and Cam's to have dinner with them and Rob, Monica, and the kids. Joel, Lindsay, and Sara made it up around 11:00 and we sat around until finally deciding to call it a night.
On Saturday everyone went skiing. Jonathan and I got to spend the day with Kingston and Zayden. They were both so good and we had lots of fun. Zayden is so helpful and assisted Jonathan with putting together a coat rack and helped me take down all the Christmas decorations.
By the time everyone got there snow clothes on, Kingston had fallen asleep. Jonathan put him to bed and then joined Zayden and I on the sledding hill.
Kingston loves his bouncer. He fell asleep for about 20 minutes and then woke up and started jumping.
Everyone had a great day on the ski slopes and got back around 5:00. Meridith, Brady, Shae, and Josh all joined us at the house for appetizers and shuffleboard. Then, they headed to Shore Lodge for dinner while we dropped Kingston off at the babysitter (Nana and Aunt Monica).
We met up just in time for a few drinks and dessert. The desserts were delicious!
Then, we were off to the Yacht club. Joel and Sara dominated the shuffleboard table and then later Sara taught me some bar games. We had a fun night!
I of course was the designated driver and all 7 of us piled into Jonathan's truck to go home. However, we had to make one stop to pick up Kingston...which made 8 of us in the truck! Then some good songs came on the radio so we all started singing...sometimes we got the words right and sometimes we didn't!
Sunday morning, Sara made an amazing breakfast for everyone. We sat around until Jonathan and I had to leave to make it back for a birthday party.
Happy Birthday Lindsay!!!
Back at home, we were invited to Reese's First Birthday. He is walking already, which makes me excited for Kingston. He was a little timid of the cake, but eventually he dug into the frosting. While opening presents, he was a little rough with Kingston, but his parent's reminded him to be gentle. He bent forward towards Kingston's head and I thought he was giving him a kiss, but it turns out he was biting him! Kingston was fine, but we had to watch them closely after that.
