Easter!

March 31-
Kingston woke up to a trail of Easter eggs from his crib.  He thought that was pretty fun and then got even more excited when he discovered that there was candy in the eggs!  He followed them into the hallway and we sat there for quite awhile going through the eggs...some had candy, some had quarters and a few had fruit snacks.
He opened his Easter basket and got some fun movies, bubbles, and a plate.  From there he followed the eggs into the next room and he was so excited to find his Cozy Coupe.  The Easter Bunny outdid himself this year!  He hopped right in and honked the horn.
After breakfast we all got ready and headed to grandma and grandpas house.  We met them at church and Kingston did really good.  He got a little bit chatty the last 10 minutes, and he did go through everything I brought in my purse, but we made it!  We went back to my parent's house and we all enjoyed a delicious ham dinner while Kingston took a nap.  After lunch, I was even able to take a little nap before Kingston woke up.

Kingston unwrapped a few more presents and had fun with his new xylophone and basketball hoop.  He even got a really fun race car.
Jonathan had some schoolwork so he left and Kingston and I stayed to play for awhile.  We hunted more eggs.

And then we dyed eggs.  It was Kingston and Grandpa's first time dyeing Easter eggs so Grandma and I showed them how it was done.  Grandpa liked making multicolored eggs and Kingston just like stirring the dyes, coloring with the crayon, and playing with the spoons.  But they turned out great!

We just enjoyed the nice weather and played outside until it was time to go home.  We helped Grandpa in his shop, played with the wagon, swung with Grandma on the swing, ate Popsicles, and rode bikes.  Grandma took us home in her jeep and Kingston thought that was a really fun time.
This clucking and pooping chicken was probably the hit of Easter!
It was still nice enough outside that we got to take the Cozy Coupe for a test drive.  He loved it!

We still had one more present to open from Nana and Pappa when we got home.  Kingston popped open the eggs and got all the treats and money inside. He did catch me eating his candy and he wasn't too happy about it!  It was such a great day to spend with family!
