Egg Hunts

March 30-
Kingston was lucky enough to get to go on two egg hunts this year.  And the weather was absolutely perfect...the sun was shining and it was 70 degrees  The first one was at my parent's church and we even got Grandma and Grandpa to go along with us. We made crafts, frosted a cookie, and had a photo shoot before the egg hunt began.

We waited at the starting line and had our eyes set on those eggs.  Then, we were off!  I think Kingston thought it was a race because he just took off running up the hill.  We were the first ones up there, but we didn't have any eggs in our basket.  I threw a couple eggs in his basket and then he got the hang of it.  He was so proud showing off his basket of eggs to grandma and grandpa.
Then we were off to egg hunt number two in Eagle.  It was at Jane's church.  We stopped and picked up daddy on our way.  Once we got there, we ran into all sorts of friends.  Kingston was excited to see his cousins Brylee and Zayden.
Joy was there with all the kiddos in tow!
Greta and Lucy waiting for the hunt to start!
Kelly, Nick, Ross and Hannah.  And Audrianna with her cute bunny ears.
This time Kingston had it down. He knew just what to do when the whistle blew!  It didn't hurt that he had Zayden, Jillian, and Jace to follow.  They all had their baskets overflowing in no time!
Then we got to empty out all the candy from the eggs.  All the kids made quite the haul. And Kingston continued to dump his eggs out, but luckily Brylee is a good helper and put them all back for him.
There were hot dogs, face painting, pony rides, barrel rides, and balloon animals, but the favorite thing by far was the bouncy houses.  I wasn't sure that Kingston would go in, but he just followed Brylee and Zayden right in.  They were bouncing and laughing and having so much fun!  Aunt Monica had to go in and help Kingston up to the slide and after that he didn't want to leave her side.  He even followed his cousins through the obstacle course and up the ladder.  He has no fear!
We all had so much fun and I'm already counting down the days until next year!!
