November 9th-
We were finally well enough to visit Brylee. Seems like one of us had the sniffles for the last few months, but now we were cleared for a visit. Jonathan is able to see Brylee everyday at work, so Kingston and I jumped on the chance to go see her new room at St. Lukes.
They pulled out the mat for us and we all got on the floor and played. At first we were dancing to music, but then Brylee and Kingston played dollies (don't tell Kingston's dad!) and then we all colored pictures. We even got in a game of Candy Land. If you ask Brylee, she won, but I'm pretty sure she drew a lollypop card at the end that should have sent her quite a few spaces back. But it was a pretty relaxed game with Kingston playing.
It was so good to see her and see how amazing she is doing. She even showed off for us and walked around. Her balance is getting so good and she has come so far in just a few months. Even now (3 weeks from our visit) she is doing even better and can walk unassisted and is much steadier on her feet.
Way to go Brylee! We can't wait to visit again!
Kingston really enjoyed Brylee's walker.
