Big Brother Kingston

Dec. 4-

This awesome kid is always surprising me!  He has never really liked it when I hold babies and always wants me to "give them back".  I didn't really know what to expect introducing him to his sister, but it ended up being the sweetest thing ever.

 

He must have known that she was his and that she was here to stay because there was nothing but love the moment he met her. He wanted to hold her and he talked really softly to her.  He tried to be gentle when touching her, but he is only 3 and he did smoosh her nose in a little.  He counted her fingers...she has 10 and likes to rub her head and give her kisses.

Even two weeks later, he is still loving Julienna. Every morning he asks to check in on his baby sister and he always wants her by him.  Whenever she fusses he will tell her "it's okay Julienna (he says it Julie Enna) shh, shh, shh."  He is never bothered by her or the fact that she takes up a lot of my time.  He gets so excited when she opens her eyes and says "mommy look! She is looking at me!".

He even helps me change her diapers and get her dressed.  Julienna really lucked out when it came to big brothers!
