Cam's 60th!!!

Aug 27-29-

Emily planned a surprise party for Cam to celebrate his 60th birthday. Jonathan and I packed up the boys and headed to Hailey for the weekend. We even got to take Brylee along with us for the ride. She did great and slept most of the way there. We made a slight detour through Twin Falls so Jonathan could do a little work so Brylee and I hung out in the grass across the street. We played ring-around-the-rosie, tag, and colored while waiting for Jonathan.

We arrived at the ranch just as the Elmo video was finishing. And the weather was so nice. We unpacked and then just hung out. We had a hard time getting a picture of Brylee without a silly face, but we finally managed to get one with the promise that the next one would be silly!! She is such a ham!

Saturday, Brylee and Zayden helped Joan plant flowers in the yard.

The rest of us got ready for the party in the back yard. It was a little cool when the sun wasn't out, but there was no rain! DJ Jonathan made a playlist for the night's festivities.

The whole family gathered around and we all took a celebration shot to honor Cam. He wasn't 100% surprised, but it's the thought that counts! It was so much fun to honor him on his big day!

Then, all the guests arrived. So many friends and family came out to party (even my parents). Deane fired up his grill and smoked the most delicious ribs. Everyone brought a dish to share and we ended up with so much great food. The night ended with a everyone gathered around the fire.

Sunday morning Monica and Cam opened their presents (Sunday was Monica's b-day), with a little help from Brylee and Zayden.

Brylee and I spent a lot of time together over the weekend and had lots of fun playing!!

And, what is a trip to Hailey without some fishing in the river? The boyz love running around and I kept tabs on them while Jonathan tried his luck with the fish. He caught a couple before we had to head back!

It was a great weekend with the family!!
