Josh and Audrey's Wedding

August 6-8-
Another quick weekend in McCall. We drove up late on Friday night and hit some rain. Barney and Chief rode in the back and got a little wet...Tucker was loving life in the backseat (we didn't have room for all the kennels in the back because we were bringing up a headboard).
We got to Joan and Cam's place around 11:00 pm. We were staying there because we had renters at our place until Saturday. We unpacked the necessities (air mattress, clothes, and water) and then Jonathan went to go see some friends. The boys and I put the bed together and got ready for bed. We all had to go outside to use the bathroom...a minor inconvenience since the water isn't turned on yet. But, it is an absolutely gorgeous house and I'm so glad that they got a place in McCall and it is only a few minutes away from us. It's going to be so fun to see it with all the furniture. Jonathan has been helping his mom pick out furniture so I know that it will look amazing!!!

Saturday morning we slept in as late as the boys would let us! Jonathan had a late night so I took the boys into the living room and set up a camp chair and read a book while the boys laid in the slivers of sun on the floor. We packed up around noon and headed to our place.I worked on laundry while Jonathan unpacked the headboard and rearranged some things. We had found some twin comforter sets on clearance so I was excited to get those put on.

By now, it was time to get ready for the wedding. We got dressed, go the boys settled, and headed out. It was an outdoor wedding and it was a beautiful day. The wedding didn't start till close to 8:00 so it cooled off in a hurry. The food was great....roasted pig, BBQ chicken, fillet minion, and salmon. They even had a candy bar!! The wedding was pretty informal. The ceremony was short and the "Internet ordained" minister had one faux pas when he called the bride by the groom's ex-girlfriend's name. Opps. None-the-less we had a great time. It was fun to see Jonathan with all of his highschool friends and hear the same stories again and again. They had a full bar and 7 kegs, so by the end of the night the stories were flowing!!!

Josh (groom), Jerry, Jonathan, Taylor, and Matt

Sunday Jonathan slept in while the boys and I put together the new bed frame and nightstand. Jonathan was surprised to see all that we had done and he helped put on the finishing touches. It looks so good!!

Other than that, we just cleaned up the place, had lunch and then headed back to Eagle. It was a great weekend and so nice to get out of the heat (it was only in the high 70's in McCall). Jonathan and I have so much fun together and it always feels like a retreat up there.
