Easter

April  22-24

Friday evening we drove up to McCall and met Joan, Cam, Grandma Truxal, Zac, Emily, and Brylee at the Verita house for dinner.  We visited for a while before we called it a night and headed home.

Saturday everyone got ready for skiing while the boyz and I enjoyed a beautiful sunny day.  We spent lots of time outside in the sunshine.  I can't believe how fast the snow is melting.  We already have a few bare patches in the yard.  By the afternoon the boys were sinking into the snow when they ran.  We also did a little bit of card making and cooking before the rest of the gang made it down from the ski hill.

We went back to Joan and Cam's for dinner and lots of good stories from the mountain.  They had the camera and sometime in the day got mixed up between the off and on button.  We didn't get to see many ski runs, but saw lots of chairlift rides, a walk to lunch, the inside of a helmet (for 30 min), and the inside of an outhouse!  Brylee got her first ski lesson and did great!  She skiied all by herself!

Sunday morning we all met at church and had a much better experience than last year (they stopped the sermon for us last year until we removed the crying baby).  We were downstairs in the kid area glittering it up with Brylee's pretty dress!  Afterwards we stopped for coffees and then started in on lunch.  Brylee and Zayden showed off their baskets from the Easter bunny and all the eggs that they found that morning.  We also hunted for our baskets which had all our favorite candy inside!  We had a great meal and ate too much as usual before heading home.
