Christmas with a child is so much more exciting. We never knew what we were missing out on!
We spent Christmas in McCall with my family. My parents were already up there when we came up on Friday evening. We spent Saturday at the Brewery watching the Denver Bronco game.
Actually, Jonathan and my dad stayed to watch the game, while my mom and I took Kingston to their place in Donnelly to go through some boxes of things. We had a fun time and mom held Kingston while I fed him. He was loving it!
We met back up in McCall for dinner before church. We even had time for Kingston to open up a present. And of course, he was more interested in the bows and wrapping paper than he was in the present. Oh well, he did get some fun Christmas jammies.
Then we got into our "fancy clothes" and went to church.
Kingston did great and never made a peep. He even took a little snooze Then, back to the house for pictures and games.
Sunday was Christmas morning and Santa brought Kingston lots of fun toys. He fell asleep before he got to enjoy them, but when we woke up he enjoyed playing with them all. Although, right before his nap, he did fall onto his new nativity set and he hit the corner of his eye on the donkey.
Joel and Lindsay arrived in the late morning and we were ready to celebrate. We had cheesy veggie soup for lunch and special hot chocolate.
Then, it was time for presents! It took us most of the afternoon to get through all the gifts, which was nice because we got to enjoy it and Kingston. Whenever he opened a present or did anything we would all stop and watch. He got spoiled and he spent all of his time on his new super soft blanket that Aunt Lindsay made for him. Grandma also made him a cute jacket and hat. The hat was a little small, but he still looked good in it!We had our traditional dinner of shrimp and prime rib. It was so delicious. Kingston just had pumpkin and rice cereal!
After such a big day, Kingston fell asleep in Aunt Lindsay's arms. We all stayed up and played games and finished the night with a couple rounds of Wii Jeopardy. Joel and Lindsay beat us both times, but Jonathan was fast at buzzing in.
It was such a wonderful Christmas. We are so lucky to have our family close by and are blessed with our newest addition.
