We made an impromptu trip up to McCall with Joan, Cam, and Bert. Around noon on Saturday they decided to go and check things out at their cabin and since we hadn't seen our place for awhile, we decided to go up too.
It was a beautiful day and the drive up was nice. We got to our cabin and tidied things up a bit. We had decided to stay at Joan and Cam's place so we didn't even have to unpack our things. We headed over there just as it was getting dark. We were passing by the airport and all of a sudden the lights dimmed on the truck. Then the interior lights started to go and the radio shut off. As we were crossing the bridge the engine shut off and Jonathan coasted the truck to a pull out. We called Joan and Cam and they came to rescue us. They tried to jump start the truck, but it wouldn't stay running. So we loaded up all of our stuff, including the dogs and they took us to their house. We had a good dinner and I was so exhausted that I fell asleep while reading Kingston his bedtime stories.
Sunday we got up and made it to church on time! We sat in the back and we only had to step out once. Kingston did good and had fun looking through my purse and giving Nana her Valentine's Day card. After church the boys went and got the truck fixed and then we played in the snow for a minute before we had to pack up and go. It was another beautiful day which makes it so hard to leave!
