We weren't in the path of totality, but we were at 99.? %. I had to work so Kingston and Julienna went to watch with my parents.
I have to admit that it was way cooler than I was anticipating. The drop in temperature, the street lights coming on, the crickets chirping, and the crescent shaped shadows were all things I wasn't expecting. And, I was surprised at how light it stayed for only a fraction of a percentage of sun being out. It was also entertaining watching everyone try to figure out how to get a picture of it!
