July 14-
We had to celebrate a few days late since Kingston was living his best mountain life on his actual birthday, which in all actuality was probably the best way for him to spend his big day!! He was welcomed home with balloons, a banner, gifts, and his favorite polar pizza!
Kingston really is a parent's dream! He has an underlying confidence that makes him unique. It's hard to explain but he just comfortable in his own skin. He is so well rounded being on student council and the football team. He is definitely a people person and thrives on connections and relationships. He has friends from all walks of life.. neighborhood kids, teammates, classmates, and cousins and he values each and every person. He seems to make friends with teachers, coaches, and friends parents too. I absolutely love going to parent teacher conferences because the teachers can't say enough good things about him.
But he is still a teenager and he spends way too much time on his x-box and gets super wrapped up in stories and games on his phone that he forgets that life exists outside of electronics. He loves to spend his money as soon as he gets it and usually on a new Transformer. He is still as creative as ever and continues to amaze me with his creations of legos and plus pluses.
He has a good grasp on his future and is just such a great kid. We are so proud of him and so excited for this next year. He will be starting high school and in a few months he will be able to get his drivers license....big things coming his way. Oh, and he outgrew me! He's got me by 3 inches now and I don't know when that happened!!
Love this kid and all the joy that he brings to our lives!!!!
