This trip had been a long time in the works! We ended up having a full house and tons of fun.
Thursday- The guys decided to go up a day early to take full advantage of all the new snow at brundage. Nick and Jonathan met Andrew, Brian, and Josh at the cabin that evening. I'm not sure what quite happened that night, but I'm sure it involved shuffle board, ping pong, and beer.
Friday- The guys had an awesome day skiing and got back to the cabin right before Kelly and I arrived. Brian and Andrew made maniccoti for dinner and a strawberry tart for dessert. It was delicious. Joel and Lindsay arrived after dinner. Kelly and I taught the guys how to play bananagrmas and it was a hit. Kinda a fast paced scrabble game. We ended up staying up until 1 am playing!! We were all seeing tile letters as we fell asleep.
We had lunch at the truck and grilled hot dogs. The sun was shinning and it was beautiful.
Saturday we all headed to the mountain. It was a little foggy, but you got out of it at the top of the chair lift. It was only Kelly's 3rd time skiing and she did awesome. Nick took her on the chairlift right away and by the end of the day she was really getting the hang of it.

In the afternoon, we meet up with Joan, Cam, Bruce, Karen, Jacob, Sarah, and Trish (we had seen Alan, Seth, and Hannah in the chairlift line). I stuck with them while the rest of our group made some runs down Hidden Valley. It was a fun day skiing and we were all exhausted.
On the way back to the cabin, we drove through
town to look at the ice sculptures, but there were people everywhere so we cut our trip short and headed home.
The girls made tacos for dinner while the guys brushed up on their ping pong skills. The tacos definitely hit the spot and we were ready for a night of fun. My parents were in town with some friends so we invited them all over for "ping-pong-palloza" and shuffle board.
Joel and Lindsay made a bracket for the play offs..and the competition began. If you weren't playing, we had bananagrams set up and I think that was the big hit of the night!!
The two winners were Cliff and Nick. The did have to split the 20 billion dollar grand prize!
We finished off the night with a little "Mexican Train" dominoes.Sunday we had a great breakfast, eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, fruit, and orange juice. Other than that, we just cleaned up and head for home.
It was such a fun weekend and as usual went by way too fast!!
