Picnic in the Park

August 12-
It was such a beautiful day we decided to pack up a lunch and ride our bikes to the park.  The ride there was easy because it was downhill, but on the way home, Jonathan had to do the hard work and pull the bike trailer.
We found a shady spot under a tree and set up.  I probably over packed, but you never know what you might need.  Kingston enjoyed the water bottle and even figured out how to drink out of it.
After lunch, we hit the park and Kingston had so much fun. Just last month we came here for his birthday, but he hadn't figured out the whole walking thing so he didn't play on anything.  Now, he was all over everything and even crossed the bridge all by himself!
He loved going down the slide! He is going to have so much fun when he is a little bit bigger.  He had such a big smile on his face and wanted to keep doing it again.
We cooled off in the water fountains.  It was fun to watch him splash the water and try to catch it in his hands.
We stopped at the water fountain for a drink and Kingston figured out how to drink.  It was pretty messy, but he got it.
A little more playing before heading home.
