Pumpkin Patch

October 9-
Our annual trip to Linder Farms for pumpkin picking and fun farm stuff.
We started in the corn box and it was a huge hit!  Kingston loved running and playing. Grandma even got in on the fun!

Then, we loaded up to go find our pumpkins.  Kingston was so excited that we were being pulled by the tractor!  I think it was the highlight of his day.  He got really sad when we got off and the tractor drove away.

I'm not sure where the idea came from, but when you asked Kingston what color pumpkin he wanted it, he said "white".  I didn't even know he knew what color that was.  We checked out all the white pumpkins but they were way to big so we had to settle on orange ones. We spent lots of time looking for our perfect pumpkins and we were successful!

We got back on the tractor, but decided to stop at another field and get little pumpkins.  They were fun to find because you had to search through all the vines and they had some really cool colors. Kingston was excited because we found his little white pumpkin here.

Grandma and Grandpa took the 70 lbs of pumpkins to the car.  Looks like they had a little too much fun!

Next stop...petting zoo.  Kingston never wants to feed animals at the zoo, but this time he kept asking for food.  We had to distract him because I didn't have any tokens for food.  He liked looking at all the animals, but I don't think he pet any of them.
We had dinner and then played on the farm equipment before leaving.  It definitely got cool when the sun went down.  And, Kingston got to ride the barrels!  He was so excited and he was okay riding by himself...so grown up!

Last year he was just 2 feet tall, now he is a whopping 3 feet!
It was such a fun night and we were so glad that grandma and grandpa were able to join us!
