Oh, I do love a good parade and McCall does a great one for winter carnival. We met mom and dad there and they saved us a good spot along the parade route. They were accompanied by some Nebraska visitors..Mike and Faye and Lyle. We also saw Dan and Amy and Kelly while we were there.
The kids got SO MUCH candy and beads. Most of it was wet and soggy by the time we got home but they just like the excitement of getting it. And there were some fun characters that the kids really enjoyed. I would say it is our most successful parade to date!
Mom, Dad, and the Nebraskans were cold and wet so they took off but we went to brave the crowds for some hot dogs and cotton candy. We ended up at Dan and Amy's and the kids go to open some belated Christmas gifts. Julienna loved her pillow that she made!
