June 5-
The great braces saga is beginning for Julienna. She was on board for braces, but then they introduced this new "Herbts" device to us and she lost all her motivation. She will start with Herbts for about 4 months to help pull her lower jaw forward to match up her teeth better. Then they will add top braces for the next 5ish months. At that time they will remove the Herbts and put lower braces on for the remainder of the 24 months. Today's appointment they scanned her teeth so they could make her device and also put little rubberbands between a few teeth to make space for it. It made her pretty sore, so none of us are looking forward to the next 24 months!!!
