Jr Miss Cherry Festival Pageant

 June 6-

Julienna secured herself a crown in this year's Jr. Miss Cherry Festival Pageant. She got 1st place in her age division and won the title of Queen.  It has been a busy 4 days of practice and interviews and then the pageant, but it all paid off in the end!  It was probably 30+ Amazon orders of shoes, dresses, and jewelry and then another 25 returns!!!  Ha, ha, it is hard to decide.

But wow, does that girls shine when she is on stage!!  My stomach is in knots in the audience but she eludes such confidence up there. I love seeing this side of her!!!  She knew her walk and posed her little heart out and nailed the onstage question. Makes my mom heart proud.  And as much as the boys joke about her beauty pageant, it was really cute to see them each explain parts of it to Nana and Monica.  It was a tough competition this year with 34 girls and they were good.

She had a good cheering section with our family, grandma, Nana, Aunt Monica, 3 of my work friends, and a surprise appearance from her 4th grade teacher, Ms diMarini.  Julienna was so excited to see her that she even cried (that's my girl!). And she won the raffle basket filled with cherry themed everything!
