A Mom Day

Sunday, September 19-

Today my mom came over just to walk the boyz with me (the are pretty irresistible!). My dad and her had just gotten back from Seattle where they watched the Nebraska game and it had been quite a few weeks since we had seen eachother.
Anyways, we leashed up the boyz and hit the trail. Lately, I've just been walking on the paved path along Horseshoe Bend Rd., but we decided to check out some of the trails in the foothills. It was perfect day with a little breeze every once in a while and few rain drops. We ended up making a 3 mile trek through the paths and it eventually brought us out right where we wanted to be. It gave us lots of time to just chat and catch up with the everyday little things. We talked about the future and everything else on my mind. The boyz were exhausted by the end of the walk...which makes for a relaxing night.
There is just something about spending time with your mom that makes everything else in life incomparable...especially when your sick.
