Cabin 1

Aug 8-10
We decided to really make use of the cabin, so this was the first of many weekend trips to end out the summer. Kingston loves it up there so much.  He is so excited to get up there and then he is so sad when we have to leave.  He always asks, "Why can't we live at the cabin and not go home?" Jonathan is just as hard to pry away!
It was a beautiful weekend and went by quickly.  We got up there late on Friday and spent most of Saturday just hanging around the cabin playing outside.  Kingston and I couldn't keep the bird feeder full...the blue jays were all over it.  Him and daddy watched the woodpeckers too!  Kingston is my great little helper in the kitchen and loves to help me cook. (Kingston graduated from the pack and play and now has a sleeping bag on the floor)
Nana and Papa razored over with Brylee and Zayden and the kids had a great time playing in the sandbox. We decided to razor to church and the kids all loved that!  Afterwards, we stopped at Grandpa Dan's house and Kingston got to have one last taste of his strawberries.  Then, it was back to Nana and Papa's place for smores by the fire.
Sunday was filled with playing!  Inside, he loves playing with the dogs and feeling Barney's feet.  He always wants me to come and look at them.

Outside, we set up the hammock and Kingston loved to sit in it and have the dogs push him while they walked under it.
Daddy and Kingston practiced "fishing" in the back yard and I think Kingston figured out how to cast. They even caught a stick and a weed, but if you ask Kingston, he will tell you he caught a shark!
The cabin is the perfect place for flying paper airplanes.  We fly them all off the porch and watch them soar down...although most of them just nose dive into the ground.
We squeezed in a razor ride, a nap (mom included), and a bowl of icecream before finally heading back home!
