Zoo Day

Generally, my days off from work are either spent working another job or at the cabin, but this time, Jonathan had a golf tournament that he had to be back for so I got to enjoy my day off with my all time favorite 3 year old!
We slept in and then had pancakes for breakfast.  Kingston played cars while I packed the car and then we were off to the zoo.  It was a perfect day!  There was hardly anyone there and the weather was perfect. All the animals were out and we got to see the lions up close.
Kingston was pretty spoiled on this trip... he got to touch a snake, he got ice cream, and he got to ride the carousal.  It was a really fun day and we enjoyed looking at the animals and just being silly.  We even spotted a few dinosaurs!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We stopped in the gift shop and Kingston really wanted this remote car, but I told him he didn't have enough money so instead we took a picture of it so he would know what to buy when he saved up his coins (that trick keeps us both happy!).
