May 28-30
We spent another weekend in McCall. The weather was forecast to be cold and rainy, but it actually turned out to be a nice weekend. We drove up Saturday morning and had sunny skies.Jonathan planted a bush that he brought to add some greenery around the cabin. He also got a picnic table for the back yard...although we can't seem to keep Tucker off of it! I just hung out with the boyz in the back yard and tidied up the inside. We ended up at Joan and Cam's place for dinner where Emily and Zac were also staying. They had driven to Riggins for the day and stopped at Ruby Rapids and collect tons of rubies.
Jonathan also found bear tracks around our cabin and the neighbors said that they have been coming by every night. Sure enough, the boyz started barking around 2:30 am and we peeked out our bathroom window to see a cub walking by the neighbors house.
Sunday, we went to church and then to Moxie Java. I got my favorite...hot chocolate with marshmallow flavoring. We also got a delicious breakfast burrito while trying to decide what to do for the day.
Then, we were off to a Memorial Day BBQ at the Perseo's house. Lucky for me, there were 2 new babies to hold!! We had fun visiting with everyone, but I mostly enjoyed holding baby Owen.

Monday morning, we took all the dogs for a walk in Black Hawk. They love to run around and smell all the animals that have been there. We encountered a few people so we decided to head to Red Ridge instead. We saw a big coyote, a couple of bald eagles, and some fresh bear poop. Jonathan also showed us his old partying spot!
