We made another trip to Stanley this weekend. Nick, Kelly, Audrianna, Jonathan, Chief, and I were headed to Nicole and Allen's wedding. We left first thing Saturday morning and got to Nick's dad's cabin just in time to change clothes and get to the wedding. The ceremony was at Alturas Lake and the weather was perfect..sunny with a slight breeze. The ceremony was short and sweet and Nicole looked stunning in her dress.
The reception was held at Smiley Creek. We had a great dinner and finished it off with red velvet cupcakes. It was fun to catch up with the St. Luke's girls and I got lots of new-mom advice!
We made it back to the cabin in time to watch the sunset. Chief found a chase buddy, Toby, and those two ran circles around the cabin. Kelly, Audrianna, and I played a few rounds of Old Maid before turning in.
Sunday, we woke up to bacon, eggs, toast, and orange juice thanks to Dennis. And then we packed up and headed home. Audrianna and I slept through the windy parts since we both get car sick.
We dropped off Nick, Kelly, and Audrianna and picked up Barney and Tucker (they spent the weekend with my parents). We were all exhausted by the time we made it home!
