We had a fun day filled with play dates. It started with a trip over to Alyssa's and Molly's house. We had to miss Kingston's first nap and of course he falls asleep when we are minutes away from their house. But he woke up to play with all the new toys! There were a couple of times that Kingston tried to take a toy from Molly (and he might have even pushed her down), but overall they did pretty good. And Alyssa and I got in plenty of talking time.
After a much needed nap, we met Joy, Colton, Jillian, and Jace at Carl's Jr. for dinner. It is so much fun to watch Kingston try to keep up with the "big kids." They are all so patient with him and know exactly what to do to make him laugh...over exaggerated falls when Kingston pushes them, running into poles, and a burp in the face (Colton just taught me that one!). By the end Kingston was following Colton around doing whatever he was doing and he was pretty excited to find Jace's soda cup. He loved the orange soda but would always make a face when he drank...the carbonation probably felt pretty funny going down. Jillian and Jace were good at helping Kingston up the big steps (he figured out how to get in to the older kid play area).
We had so much fun and with the kids entertaining themselves, Joy and I got all caught up!
