December 27-
Great Grandma Truxal got her angel wings today. She had been in the hospital for over a week and just couldn't fight anymore. It gave the family time to gather and all 7 of her children were able to be by her side in the last moments. It makes you wonder if their was something more going on because her husband passed on December 26 and her daughter passed on the 28th.
It was fun hearing all the stories of them growing up and the memories they each had. I remember how she would love to see the great grand-kids. She didn't always know who was who, but she would get a smile from ear to ear when they were around.
These are some pictures from my bridal shower, baby shower, holding newborn Kingston, Brylee's 5th birthday, and Mother's day 2013.
Sunday, December 29, was the viewing and rosary service. A few people stood up and shared their memories. Monday, December 30, was the funeral. Bruce gave a wonderful eulogy filled with stories about MaryLou and her grand-kids. It was a beautiful tribute. In addition, a few of the grand-kids played the music and sang.
Tuesday, December 31, she was laid to rest at the Rexburg Cemetery. We packed the RV and headed out at 7 am. and returned around 7:30 pm. It was good to be surrounded by family and we knew MaryLou was doing okay when she sent us the most beautiful sunset that night!
